The result was as pleasing as it was unexpected. I think Basildon will be very disappointed and that was the worst I have seen them play in three games against Romford.

 

With Takeley beating Enfield it makes the top of the table really interesting. This season looks like being open and it will be interesting to see how Bas react to today's result; they go to Eton Manor in midweek and Barkingside next Saturday; both tough games.
