If the budget we have is as big as you think, then why does the manager have to have good knowledge of "local" players? Players who will never be good enough to play for Slough?! Surely it is more important for the manager of someone like Burnham who do not have good budget to have the "local" knowledge? As always Wiz, you are talking complete b******s!! Obvioulsy not been attending many games! To say that Fenton is not good enough at this level proves that! He has been a good quality signing! Once we get our regular back 3 of Fenton, Evans and Harper playing back together the goal leaking will stop. Other decent signings from last season include Platt, Romeo, Bubb and McGoingley! Sweetman has made impressive signings and once they are all available we will again go back to looking like a very good side! Anon, you've done it again you haven't yet quite got to grips with thinking before posting.

Everyone knows we have a budget and nobody has said different.

So if you think we should walk the league on our budget you must think it is bigger than Truro's budget.

You think Evans is not capable of winning the ball in the air or in a tackle? you must be a better judge than the Farnborough management for whom he was a regular starter in their team.

Steve Roberts told one of our supporters that 2 players had actually been signed but not in time to play yesterday. One was from Didcot and one was from Aylesbury.

 

This seems to be untrue because the Didcot player that was mentioned actually played a full game for Didcot yesterday in there 2-1 away win at Paulton. I can see no reason why he would sign for us now.
