Madonna and Guy Ritchie to Divorce

Recommended Posts

Cantos - Apparently Madonna and Guy had not shared a bed in almost a year, that was obviously a tell tale sign that things weren't going well between them.

Bearing in mind how active Madonna is rumoured to be in that department it wouldn't have taken the most vivid of imaginations to assume what she was getting up to in New York with the likes of Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez, they were spotted dining together and in June she took adopted son David to a New York Yankees baseball game against the Cincinnati Reds, no prizes for guessing why.

Apparently Madonna was always hesitant to support Guy's career path but can you really blame her, he doesn't come across as the most dynamic of blokes and, as I'm sure our own resident film crytic Lato would agree, his films are all mind numbingly boring, he is currently filming a new version of Sherlock Holmes which says it all really.

The only one of his films I've seen is Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels which I enjoyed

Precisely what do you mean by this statement?

Lato - I mean exactly what it says on the tin, namely that a film about Sherlock Holmes is hardly inspiring and more likely to send an audience to sleep than keep it on the edge of their seats. Talking of which, have you been down to your local flea pit lately.

Shrelock Holmes is a much loved character and most films and TV series about him have proved to be popular. The fact that the stories have been dramatised on a number of occasions over the last 70 years, the books are still read and loved and that a director such as Guy Ritchie is turning his attention to the character would suggest you are in a minority here (now there's a surprise)

In answer to your question yes I have been to the cinema recently (not the local flea pit as you witlessly insist on terming it...originality is the key to humour rhodes). The last two films I saw were Man On Wire and The Fall..both excellent films that I enjoyed and would recommend to anyone.

Apparently Madonna and Guy haven't had sexual relations for some eighteen months and Guy is resigned to her officially getting together with Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez as soon as the ink is dry on their divorce papers as she is aready bombarding the baseball star with phone calls an vice versa.

I suppose you have seen Madonna in the flesh quite a few times living in New York, are you a fan.
