11. Billericay lost 5-2 to Hastings!!!

 

Have to admit Wealdstone were unfortunate not to get at least a point. They put us under a fair bit of pressure in the second half and apart from Dave Lee's goal, we didn't have a shot in the second half.

 

Their forwards were quite lively and their two wingers looked good but their defence was poor and their keeper was quite appalling. In all fairness Wealdstone didn't look a side struggling in the bottom 4. At times they played some good football.

 

You can't doubt our spirit though and we dug in and got the result. Jay took his goals well and Dave Lee had a good game in midfield. Ricky did well when he came on.

 

As Glen said, good set up at Wealdstone. Pleasant ground and the bar and catering facities were very impressive.

 

As for the girls in the burger bar, they had a great set of lungs on them!!!

 

Overall, a very enjoyable night.

I used to work in the building above Mayhem. Went to the opening night in one of the pods where topless birds painted gold were serving champagne. I've had worse nights....
