Camberley 2-2 Cove

Entertaining match. Typical game of 2 halfs. Cove playing down the slope 1st half that was supposedly not there anymore. Johnno getting the 2nd goal and his 3rd of the season.

Camberley came out firing 2nd half and got their 1st goal from a corner which we failed to deal with. I managed to stick a foot out to clear off the line but a Camberley player poked it home from 5 yds out.

Their 2nd goal was a mistake from our keeper. A routine cross that bounced in front of the goalie went straight thru his hands and in to the net. Bad goal but will let him off as he's been superb up to now.

Camberley's skipper was sent off after getting a yellow for elbowing me when going up for a header and then persistent fouling after it. With 5 minutes to go it didnt really make an impact on the game.

A note on the pitch.....> They were meant to have taken some of the slope away which you couldnt notice.....The pitch was bobbly all over the place.....i was wearing studs and you could feel stones under the soil wherever you ran. That cant be right can it?? STONES?? Not good considering its a new relaid pitch!!

Would have taken a point before the game but dissapointed to have dropped 2 points after being 2-0 up.

Camberley were not as good as their top of the table position suggests!!

Found them very organised on Saturday Johnno, I noticed the stoney sound underfoot at the top end of the pitch too.

Did PB speak to you or is he still too BTK !!!

Lost to Banstead 4-0 last night, entertaining game but once again if you dont take your chances you pay the price, missed another 3 or 4 very good chances (plus the Banstead keeper made some good saves) twice Banstead scored 2 goals within 2 mins of each other.

Impressed with Banstead going forward, good pace out on both flanks did cause problems all game and took there chances well.

2 down with 15 to go change to a more attacking formation and error in defence straight away giving Banstead their 3rd killed that plan and any chance of getting something out of the game.

Teffers try giving credit where credit is due mate wink

Oh by the way get over it you lost ha ha ha ha ha

Matin Girling got the first!!

That wasnt a nibble about the slope was it Krooner????

If the pitch had been rolled prior to the match then it would prob not have been so bobbly! But then if the pitch had been rolled we'd have been playing on Hayling Island beach front!! (stones and pebbles for anyone not been there).

Dig 15ft down and get rid of 200 tonnes of soil and the slope will be no more! Prob a days work?????? smirk

Yes Gusset "if" we took the chances then we would have stood to get something out of the game, but that's twice in a week that we've failed to score and we ain't gonna get fook all playing for a nil nil each week. Also thought their keeper deserved some credit as he played well last night and everything stuck credit were it due you know Gusset wink

Blimey mate things aren't that bad are they that you've got fed up being on the bench !!!

Badshot Lea 1 Chertsey 3

Chertsey made 5 changes from team that beat Banstead on sat.

Badshot run the 1st half and looked the far better side. Chertsey had a couple of good chances but Badshot should have gone in with possibly more than there 1-0 up. Chertsey made a double change at half time and looked a completely different side, an unbelievable contrast to the first, they passed the ball well and were awarded a penalty within 5 mins of the restart, Kevin Cooper scoring from the spot. Chertsey continued to dominate and then on 65 minutes Gavin Bolger (making his first appearance since breaking his jaw in the first game of the season) came on as a sub, within 90 seconds he was sent off for violent conduct. 1-1, Chertsey down to 10, all to play for. Badshot then had a strong 5 mins which Chertsey rode and then Chertsey played there best football of the game, they passed it well and within on 73 mins Paul Brooker broke through and curled a brilliant goal into the the top corner. Kevin Cooper wrapped the game up with his 2nd of the game on 80 as 10 men Chertsey went through to the next round.

You are a silly boy RB.

My advice, read the post properly to understand it properly. Heir Krooner understood it fine.

Emotions were high (as expected) and got the better of one or two coaches just before HT. Some verbals were exchanged as the teams went in and the BG coach was tripped from behind which sparked a scuffle. If you've been in the Wembley changing area you will know you are packed in like sardines so everybody was on top of each other which doesn't help. Wembley certainly came out with more passion second half to make a game of it but BG could have won by many more to be honest, agree Gussey? 3 bookings in the whole game I think, players shook hands after the game and BG went down the far end to warm down to avoid any further incidents that are not in our interest.

Yeah i agree GP, dunno what's wrong with Wembley at the moment actually i do know but i'll keep my opinion to myself.

B.Green have a great chance of winning the league in my opinion, it was nice to chat to Lee and his ol' man and his brother, along with Craig White, Chrissy and JB.
