I was pleased that the basic friendliness and feeling of some contact with what is going on at lower level football got through to the writer who normally watch

British football is slowly dying in the hands of Abramovich, Gillett, Glazer and various capital companies. Premier isn't real football any more, it's a game between the riches men in the world. This trend has, thankfully, not yet moved outside the borders of England. But money is everything for any football team these days. You know that better than most fans, your own team is owned by a corporation. It's just good for you that your corporation isn't filled up with a lot of rich arabic men, but "real" people. I'm not a member of MyFC, and i'm not planning to be. But MyFC is still a corporation which brings in more money to the game, and this means that all the other clubs in the league need to use more money and so on. The spiral continues...
