Wiz....you have clearly got the biggest axe ever to grind. Pretty much every one of your posts might make it clear that you are a knowledgeable and loyal fan but they show equally clearly how bitter you are. Sadly, and we should feel sorry for you, you feel it necessary to hide the reasons why, and your identity, behind your changing names. I can only guess this is because if the real reason and your identity was known it would explain far more than the reasons you provide for your feelings...and probably discredit your even further.

Wiz - do you really think that Sweets took your advice and signed Luke Evans? Do you think he signed him cos you posted on here that we needed to do something at the back?

Do you not think that after a few games he realised that something needed doing?

I expect that in answer to this you will throw in the old "Hand picked" comment again (let it go, pleeeaaasssee!!). Sometimes things don't work out as you expect so you need to adapt and change things....which Sweets then did and changed personnel.

 

Also, it's not as simple as just going out and getting players form better teams and higher divisions. What makes you think players from higher levels want to come and play for Slough after the last couple of season. The only thing that would attract these players at the minute is money and what makes you think the money is there?? Therefore we are limited to who we can sign. We can't just bring in players from the league above. If it was that easy then every club would be doing it.

 

It's not Sweets' fault that we are in this league or have been bad over the past few seasons.

 

Obviously Sweets' style of management is not to your taste but that doesn't mean it is not right!

 

Even you have to admit that so far progress has been made from last season.

I tend to agree with you. I dont believe Wiz/RWG Reuters has played at the level of football he claims he has. A shame really as he seems quite a knowledgeable chap, but i find it hard to believe that he wont let us know his name - surely you would proud of your

This debate is not helped at all by an anon asking someone to reveal their real name! Think about it for a minute. If RWG, Wiz, or whoever want to hide behind a forum name that's fine by me, we All do it! Just because some of us know who a certain forum name is in real life, does not make it common knowledge.
