Harefield United....

Recommended Posts

Oh, sorry Rhodes, I did post a full report last night. Maybe it got deleted with my other post?

By the way, I'm considering starting a 'Morning all' thread. If anyone's interested, the sun is kinda milky this morning in south-west Herts.

The clouds are drifting wistfully across the sky leaving me feeling melancholic, but at the same time rather optimistic, about the day ahead.

I would say the ambient temperature would be a chilly, but not unpleasant 5c. Nice.

Oh yeah, Harefield 2 v 4 AFC.Hayes. crazy

You have to admit it was a poor result, AFC Hayes lost 4-0 at home to 'the mighty' North Leigh last Saturday. Did you meet Wingnut by the way.

Samuelsmiles - Will you be going to Haringey Borough tomorrow, if so say hello to the gateman for me, his name is John. Did you go there with Edgware Town two seasons ago, it was surprisingly only 3-1 to Edgware if I recall when Hertford Town went to Coles Park and won 9-0.

AFC Hayes come from behind to secure a 4-2 away win with form team Harefield Utd from the Spartan League

AFC Hayes come from behind after conceding an early penalty. Confusion in the box between James Harry and Craig Bartlett led to the penalty which was coverted by Harefield Utd. AFC Hayes rallied and were on level terms through a great goal from Victor Osubu (32). AFC then went ahead a minute before half time when Jay Periera chipped the goalkeeper for another superb strike (44). The teams went in at half time with AFC Hayes leadinf 2-1. AFC Hayes come out the blocks in the second half and extended their lead to 4-1 with a further strike from Victor Osubu (48) and a strike from Scott Wadge (52). Harefield got one back with 10 minutes left on the clock and pushed AFC Hayes hard but we held out and recorded a solid 4-2 away victory and a passage into the Semi final of the Middlesex Senior Cup

Harefield 5 Brimsdown 3

Back on form. A really good attacking performance, their best for ages, although it was disappointing to let in 3 goals.

19 point clear now. Come on Chalfont, concentrate on the Vase now......just think.....Wembley....you'll probably never get the chance again. giveup

5-3 Home win HOW VERY DISAPPOINTING

That I was unable to make it to the game, a big well done to the Team and the coaching staff, more of the same on Saturdy please! Iknow it will be hard but doable. Let us concentrate on our games and let the rest of the league do there own thing,

'then I may start gloating Saturday'

excited

left it late again, but a share of the points was a fair shout. with the other results today it looks to have been narrowed down to 4 teams. The points arent going to come easy and all the tops teams have to play each other. it gets better every week

squeeky bum time for the mighty hares.

ST Mags 0-3 Harefield utd

Another game in the bag 3-0 to the mighty hares and it should have been double that.Usually we would have been happy to come away with a point in recent seasons, but tonight was all over by half time.

Saturdays game at home to welwyn will be a lot harder.A battle is expected as always when they come to ours.

With the quick passing and movement harefield showed tonight and all the players once again fit and ready to go, surely this has to be their season ...at last!!!!

Countdown to the TITLE :

7 GAMES LEFT - 19 POINTS CLEAR OF CHALFONT... Who have 13 GAMES LEFT.. VERY BIG ASK.

I havent forgotten Biggleswade Town they are still hanging on waiting for the chance to steal the show.

BUT MY QUESTION IS THIS,SHOULD I PUT THE CHAMPERS ON ICE GLENN ??
