The way i saw it you were 3-0 down at half time because Banstead were by far the better side in the 1st half, nothing due to the ref. It could have been more but your decent keeper made another couple of great saves.

 

2nd half you started better but didn't take the couple of chances you had. Ref gave a couple of 50/50 decisions against you and then your team didn't stop moaning. The right back got sent off for arguing with the ref and got 2 seperate yellows coz he just wouldn't shut up. The decision that led to that was actually made by the linesman giving a free kick to Banstead, although i will admit it was fairly questionable. However, that doesn't excuse your player argueing with the ref constantly.

 

2nd sending off was second yellow (1st one being a cynical foul in the 1st half) when your player gave away a penalty and then argued with the ref. Whether or not it was a pen i don't know as i was too far away. Obviously playing with 8 men towards the end aint ideal, hope your left back is ok, was a decent player with a sweet left foot.

 

And after that i still didn't get to meet Rufus!

If so, then yeah he is. Was our only regular first team defender playing last night (along with 2 regular midfielders and a squad player). I think I'm right in saying he also skippers the youth team still!!

I guess we will have to see how it pans out. Not sure how a club can transfer a player with only 1 of the 2 clubs assenting to it though? doah The facts are clear, as are the league rules, so lets see how they explain it to the other clubs, especially those that got knocked out of the cup or dropped points as a result.

EG are you going to start calling us Badfont again now . dont agree with your views though mate. ithought we played well in the first half until a deflected goal against the run of play, bad defending cost us again in the 1st but to say the ref made a few 50/50 decisions is just quite ridiculous.

ok the right back talked himself off yes but how can the ref give a yellow card when he didnt give the free kick it was the lino and the ref never went to consult the lino to see what he saw, so hes given a yellow for something he hasnt seen. the penalty wasnt a penalty it was a great tackle as agreed by their bench AND it was outside the area.

I do believe someone has said on here that the ref is notorious elsewhere, we have had him a few times even our reserves and he has actually invited some players into the car park after the game now is that the way to get respect.

Overall Banstead deserved i dont have a problem with that but we now lose 2 players because the t'''t in the black doesnt like us

Maybe he started the Badfont eh.

It's getting very very tawdry listening to you lot babble on about refs and blaming them for losing when USUALLY the plain and simple truth is that you're s**t!! Just hold your hand up and say "We weren't good enough" or "X outplayed us and played well" Mick, you got drubbed 6 nil mate, you can't blame the "t*t in black" for that, can you?

If the ref made some dodgy decisions in YOUR favour, you'd be hanging out the back of him and singing his praises wouldn't you?

I hope that went into a report to the league.
We had a strange situation recently with a referee as well.

The transfer was sanctioned by the league.
Neither club has any "case" to answer!!!
