Binfield are quite a tidy side, and as they showed tonight have a lot of belief in themselves and keep playing. It could be a tough game for Frimley Green in the next round.

Totally agree with the above comments on our game v Chertski last night.

They dominated the majority of the first half and some of their passing and movement is extremely good and deserved their lead.

Second half was a different story and with nothing to lose we just got at them. Yes a lucky 2nd helped our cause, but we then preceeded to dominate them at times and scored 2 fantastic goals with the winner worthy of winning any match.

Overall I thought it was a good game to watch with some quality goals from both sides. The men in black weren't the best this season and only real complaint was a shocking tackle from their No5 within the first 2 mins that warranted at least a yellow, if not a red and he didn't even talk to the player.

Let's hope we take this display into our next match and get another win though!!

One final point is that tw*t Spencer Day should learn to accept defeat gracefully. I didn't go into the boardroom as was enjoying a drink with the lads, but our commitee members eventually got up and left before it got a bit heated, due to the amount of sh*t things that he had to say about our club. After they did one of their commitee came out to apologise for what he had said.

Yep, watched Binfield v Fareham last night and we wanted Fareham to win cos they were toilet!

Never mind, Binfield it is, but they are still beatable.

We could have had a far worse draw.

Great win for Cobham and we have heard about that. Bedfont quiet about their game. Nothing from CC about their game at Egham. Any offers anyone ?

Dead right, an apology is owed to the Cobham comittee. Although I only made ONE comment and it was not about their club but their team. In the aftermarth of a shocking defeat against a team that had not won all season i expressed that we had lost to a very poor side (in worse language) and I apologize. However two of their committee stayed for some time afterwards and only one guy left and I congratulated their playing management after the game.

The fact is that Cobham showed fantastic spirit in the second half after being completly outplayed in the first. The age of the Cobham team shows how far effort and desire can get you and they deserve ALL the credit. I will not slag off my team in public but , although we gifted Cobham back into the game, our experienced, well paid squad must really look at the Cobham guys this morning and learn something.

If Cobham continue in that spirit it shows the way that youth at this level is the right way forward and they should keep out of relegation trouble-good luck to them.

I heard it was a tough game at Egham last night but we had sufficient quality in the final 3rd to win a close game.

Sarnies are a big physical side apparently.

Hinga Amara has 8 goals in 5 games since his return and we have scored 20 goals in last five games.

Badshot Lea at home on Saturday, a very tough game ahead, but looking forward to it before England beat Borat XI.

Interesting comments above re young players being the way forward in this league. (I only do the boardroom at North Greenford so wont comment on all that other crap)!!

Our Suburban side is a virtual under 21 team and our under 18 and 17 sides are mostly involved in our senior teams.

Money is great but a balanced team is vital.

Here here to Gusset's clapping.

Respect to you CT for coming on here and issuing your apology as not everyone would have the decency to do that.

As you say I'm sure things were said in the heat of the moment, after what was a shock result, and you have now given us the credit I felt we deserved.

Good luck for the season and see you at the return match.

Well our staring eleven last night aged between 17-22 with only 2 subs over that age!! Two of our regular starters are still youth team players.

Reserves are exactly the same and they are holding their own once again in the Suburban, so think a lot has to be said for youth.

Some money would be nice though too haha!!
