They forgot to mention on their Forum that AvRo United (you gotta larf! laugh ) were blown away 4-1 at 'Ricay last week. They are three points ahead of us but we have two games in hand and a better goal difference - and we play them on Thursday. grin

Why have you got to laugh sidders. Neither Romford nor Aveley had a ressies team for this year so decided to start a joint one so our squads both benefit from them. Makes perfect sense to me.

think sidders is laughing at the name "avro united". I was under the impression that the club in the capital league is "Aveley". but let's not get into the old football club names thing again...

Sorry, I should put you straight didn't you know.

Its Aveley and ROMFORD for one season then it reverts back to Romford. We have already undertaken a dawn raid to Mill Field and changed the locks on the tea bar and captured all the tea bags. However any remaining Milk that was left by the fleeing locals was deemed to be off.

Watch out Aveley! Many a true word ....

They are leeches and will attach themselves to any club they can and then suck the life blood from them.

TB is right, I was chuckling at the ridiculous name of AvRo United not the defeat. It is strange how RFC fans believed the Capital League was pants last year but this season they all love it. Or maybe its not strange at all!

I think some strange romford fan (Tbag) came up with Avro and i think it's stupid too

 

Treeboy no i'm not coming tonight as i can't be arsed but i may come over saturday as romford ain't got a game
