We played for over 10 years in the Isthmian League at Merland Rise, I can't foresee any problems. And we most definately do not see ourselves as a Reigate Borough club.

If a chairman of a club is complaining that so called smaller teams (who are by the way playing at a higher level) are getting looked after money wise then is'nt that his fault?? First of all he has'nt appointed a manager that can get them promoted which of course brings more publicity. This would bring more people through the gate and interested in the club. This leads to other avenues like womens and youth football which we all know leads to being eligable for more grants through the FA. They'd find more revenue coming in and more grants available. Now surely this should'nt be difficult as its the BIGGEST town around.

Merstham and Chipstead have kept with the same players and built they're clubs up after a lot of hard work and time. I hate silly suit wearing idiots that to be honest [****!!****] up grass roots football. Dreamworld!!!! Crawleys a massive town and they got 875 for a Tuesday fix the other week and they're top of the conference, how far do Redhill wanna go???? Arrrggghhh rant over.

does anyone know how the club came to own their ground at Kiln Brow, was it donated as part of the move or did they purchase land?

Having seen the goings on at Meadowbank I cant believe a club would sell their home to a council and lease it back.

Especially when its to fund a tilt at promotion, a carpark and an all weather training pitch as is being reported.

I doubt the chairman and commitee/owners are all insane so there must be something else to it.

Can't believe that was ever the case JR!

Have had the misfortune of two separate spells working in Redhill. What a horrible place. A memory of one incident sums it up for me - was at a cash machine one lunchtime and heard a commotion, looked round and there were two women brawling in the road (in the road!!). Looking on was a guy egging them on and he had his hands on a pushchair containing a toddler (presume the son of one of these women). That toddler would be about 15 now, wonder how he's turned out?

Redhill - makes Farnborough look like Harrogate laugh
