Good honest -and encouraging-appraisal from BA again.

 

I reckon he will be a really good manager for margate .

 

Obviously very frustrated at present with the defence-God knows what he would have thought of last years pub side defence then !!

 

It seems to me, that whilst we still have serious defensive issues, the defence is 50% better than last season just the same.

It's interesting when you do compare to last season. After 11 games we currently:

 

> have scored 3 fewer goals

> have conceded 3 more goals

> have won 4 fewer points

Wow-alot closer than i thought-especially on the points difference-imagine if we had won yesterday .

Dear,Dear,MM last years PUB side,I dont think so,now come on mate,stop all the slaging,maybe it would have been nice to keep a few????

I think Tony if you read more carefully, that i wrote last years pub side defence.

 

It does seem to me, that at least BA is giving the defence some attention this season,and whilst yesterday disappointed him, we have not seen the capitulations that we witnessed last season (well maybe Worthing excepted ).

I'm sure all the hard work BA and the players are putting in will pay off.

Agree,BUT,it would have been better if we could have kept a few on from last season.I know his playing time is over but do you think that SKINNS was a pub player?

No-Skinner was good..

 

The defence is made up of them working as a unit though, and we were pretty rubbish last season in defence .

As you rightly suggest though, its history so ought to leave it there-i guess it just keeps coming back, because we underachieved so much in the last two seasons and its hard to forget (or forgive !)

 

I must be mad, but somehow, i'm just finding this season more enjoyable all round.I guess thats down to expectations being so much lower
