This will not be Merstham's first visit to the Stadium.

 

We met on September 2nd 1989 in an FA Cup Preliminary Round match which we won 2-1. Merstham were the 'home' side but the venues were switched for some reason.

 

Maybe one of the hasbeens played on that day.

 

We went out at the next stage 2-1 at home to Erith & Belvedere.

I doubt whether I did, something to do with our manager did not want me cup tied as a lot of senior clubs were interested in me . The older bald one might have played mind.
