Are Basildon playing the kids in the League cup (all very Premiership) or has someone won the lottery at Clapton.

The latter can't be true as there is no sign of the Cowleys at Clapton.

That money they have got from remortgaging Gary's house has to last till Christmas..(only joking Gal evil) therefore they can't afford to pay for silly mid-week cup games!lol Fa Vase money is vital otherwise the vultures from the Ryman will nick 2 or 3 players!!

It's always nice to hear the considered view of a trophy winning coach or manager.

When it happens on this thread I'll be even nicer.

Bit dissapointed to read that Groynestrain. doah

I'll have you know I've won the Blackwater and Dengie League at Under 11's as a player and as a Manager. It was a glorious return to my roots.

Myself and Kaiser also won the Silver End Cup this year, defeating Silver End 8-0. Another glorious moment.

Bit harsh mate! I joined in once, on Reedy/Midget/Rogie's last day and was the best player there (it was a one on one session between me and a passing old lady).

I didn't do badly at all to be fair! Jerry will confirm my excellence.

Every possibility of the Bees falling away Kaiser. We all have our feet firmly on the ground. We're more than delighted with our unexpectedly good start but we know that Basildon United is definitely a 'work in progress' so as the season wears on we'll find our true position.

Thank you for the kind words. We'll give it a good go tomorrow whatever the result. Pretty much like yourself Kaiser smile
