hi,

 

Just wondering, do trials run all year round? I'm 16 and very eager to give it a go. I think I have the ability, anyway.

 

Who would I get in touch with?

 

What age group are these (if any one knows of course):

Ah, just found this page: http://www.ebbsfleetunited.co.uk/eufc/in...amp;Itemid=328. So according to that, trials only run in the summer? Surely there must be exceptions, right? smile

Yes, I do mate. However, I see no harm in giving it a go. I can show what I can do and if they like it then we're all happy. smile

 

I would take my trophies along but what's the point in that. You let the feet do the talking. Some of my trophies include: managers player (3 times in a row), parents player, players' player, sports personality of the year, ect.

 

I've been looking at other clubs too, such as the Luton Scholarship programme.

It is an excellent scheme, and we have some fantastic youngsters in the scheme at the moment.

It is basically 'A level' football at Meopham School and the term started at the beginning of September.

If you really are good enough then contact the club and ask for a trial.

He Is correct, they are still trialing at Torquay. I also contacted them. I have sent them pictures of all my trophies. I have also told them how good I am. They told me they will get back to me. I omitted from the conversation that I'm Over fifty, overweight, have a glass eye and a wooden leg. I am sure they will overlook these few minor matters though. As i am sure they will not want to lose out such a good raw talent as mine smile
