Update

[Margate Football Club]

Margate Football Club is delighted to announce that the application for an adjournment against the winding up petition has been successful in court today. This allows the club until 26 November 2008, to finalise a solution to its financial worries. The Club would like to thank supporters from this Club and others who have been sending in their well wishes.

 

The Club can also announce that a planning application has been submitted by our architects to Thanet District Council for the proposed Medical Centre at Hartsdown Park.

Thanks for that. Although understandibly thin on details, it is encouraging to be kept abrest of what facts there are.

 

As for the medical centre and other construction works, I would be delighted if the club could share with us their vision for the plans & timescale for all developments at the site - If they were clearly highlighted as confirmed / unconfirmed / pie in the sky etc I don't think there would be adverse reaction to modifications as they happen.

 

After all the problems arise by fans not being told anything, or being told things are certain when they are not. Judging by the feeds from the club recently, they also now share this view.
