From the outside, it always looked as though in the summer and start of season ,JW's strategy was quantity and not quality-'throw enough mud/players and see what/who sticks'.

 

Some obviously has not been good enough, and now he is thinning out to get a bit more quality such as Jay May.

Very decent of you RM, under the circumstances. I assume he wasn't being very professional when considering he is an ambassador for MFC now.

You couldn't mentor that Sanderson boy could you? He was doing alright a few days ago, then regressed back into cheap and petty niggling. I take 10p off my kids pocket money when they do it - maybe that'd work with him?

I think given the recent news from Margate and Folkestone all non-league fans need to stick together in these troubled times and enjoy friendly rivalry. Whatever people's background and opinions we all surely agree that it is good that the towns of Kent currently have their local team to support and it affects us all if someone goes out of business.

As for the Rams I think it's true to say that the loss of three key players (Paul Wilkerson, Ollie Schulz and Dean Hill)has proved harder than expected to cope with but given that we missed a last minute pen v Hornchurch and were two nil up at home to both Tonbridge and Canvey but ended up with one point from those games, we should be at leats six points better off and that would things look a lot rosier. What we need to do is what Margate have done, and started to keep clean sheets.
