O.K. lets something straight here. Thanks for your thanks but I did absolutely "nothing" yesterday apart from making a personal choice to take a trip to London for the day.Am off this week so it makes a change to visit London. whistle

Taking in the court proceedings was obviously top of my list I admit but I merely passed on the result of the meeting.I was an interested party there solely as an observer. No more.

This result, though temporary is helpful & welcomed but its not the end of it. We still have to find that money or at least make arrangements to pay with both sides in agreement. Even then we would have to keep to those payments & not miss any,as we seem to have done in the past.

We still have lots to do, but the club, for making an application for adjournment(despite maybe getting us into this mess in the beginning) & the Judge for obliging are the ones who deserve to be thanked for yesterdays mini result.

But it IS only a mini result. We all know this.

We need some cash inflow. We can't rely on the developer to bail us out.I'm sure if that was on the agenda it would have been forthcoming by now.

The club has to find this money so again, what can WE do to help.

I,like nearly every other supporter of this club must be absolutely fed up with all these financial burdens.

Despite us all having a breathing space now,57 days will soon pass & then we'll all be sweating again.

I believe (with everything crossed) that is just the breathing space the club needs to sort this out. I note that some fans on here say that they will not put extra in Ie sponsoring, lottery, 50/50 etc but that is fine, as long as they still come to the games they are still helping the club in paying their enterance monies.

Despite what Tony says I believe he showed what a true fan he is by going yesterday and also volunteering to be interviwed by Radio Kent (hope you didn't mind me passing on yr contact details Tony?). Either that or he is just a nosey bugga! laugh wink

Well I wont be turning up until the club is one person one vote, a bit like Canterbury, whitstable and a few other clubs.

Unfortunately / fortunately there are a few others who have a similiar outlook

Of course no-one can force you to go but can I plead with you Pagey & all those other stay-away supporters to maybe put your personal feelings aside for a little while longer.I'm saddened to hear you say you wont be turning up - (for whatever reason).

Despite your/our personal thoughts on things we should be putting that aside at this time & working together to ensure a future.

If we as fans haven't done all we can do assure us of that future, regardless of obstacles being put in our way, then we won't have deserved to have a club.

You are missed on those terraces as are others not coming along these days.Come on,for 57 days at the very very least, put your personal thoughts aside & join us,we HAVE to pull together.

I'll make sure the toilet is free all game,I promise. laugh

Everyone has a choice ,and i always respect people's choices.

It seems such a shame though that 'pricipled view is taken ' without an effort to compromise;as the people who will be hurt by such decisions are the players, other managementand other supporters.

The fact that people take the trouble to post, shows that they care-so why hurt others ?

Apart from that, as there is not exactly a queue of alternative owners so it seems some are in for a very long wiat;not withstanding the fact that if KP were to go in a hurry, almost certainly the club would fold entirely; so whilst repecting peoples choices;it seems a somewhat flawed choice to me;and i often find that when you dig deeper,in the majority of cases the real reason for many decisions, is somewhat different to the published version.

Up the 'Gate and every best wish to the current board to rescue MFC

Maybe if & when he does go,there may not be a club left to support.Have you thought about that, therefore you won't be returning anyway will you. Neither will anyone else. Too late then. Thanks guys!
All the while the club is there we should be supporting it.We may not all agree with the way its run or who's running it but some of us STILL go because we love watching our team in action regardless.
Is staying away proving anything? It's stating your personal dissatisfaction maybe but in the meantime the club is falling down further on its knees. And maybe its not just because of KP,maybe its because supporters like yourself, who are staying away, are also to blame for finances to be as slim as they are.
I'd say that was biting off your nose to spite your face, wouldn't you,& us others too while you're at it.
If anyone can come up with a solution to suit the club better then come forward & make it happen.I for one will back it if it improves this club & makes for a better future.Until then we have to support our club as best we can, with what we have & with whom we have.

the club doesn't help itself though cookie, so why help something that wont help itself

I wont go into the reasons why on the forum as I dont want the negativity.

But I still get my fix by listening in to Wellsie and for the away matches I get the reports. Also I have sponsored an away game so I can still get to see the fans and sign the songs !!!

Pagey,I'm sure I can guess at what you're talking about to a degree(lord knows we've spoken about this enough times in the past),but its still not the way...to boycott matches.. i.m.o.
I appreciate & know that you in particular have supported this club financially in the past so with you I might be being a little unfair but even so, I still maintain that staying away dosen't help,it just adds to any problems we might already have.

Well, myself, my friends and relatives won't be attending again. I have since found out that I am not the only one to have been "spoken to" re. relating ones opinions on here. If the club wants support it has got to stop pi$$ing people off. There just seems to be more and more stayaways which is a shame especially for me as I was really enjoying my football at the time (even in defeat).
