True TAKELEY fc!!They only supply a bowl of curry rice at the thursday training session and i believe that and Dean Allen doesn't play for money,just exps.

The problem Kaiser is not that you get paid...it is the pointing a finger at some clubs that say they pay players and forgetting that there are some others that do that under the counter.I personally believe clubs at our level should get more help from the tax man thus allowing them to have a bit more of financial stability.At the end of the day i don't find it fair towards players that they should fork out their own money for driving to training and home and away matches.Just an opinion matey.

Well I think you need to take that up with Mr Takeley FC, so he can get his facts straight first.

Its not easy to get financial stability or backing in the ESL.

Why would anyone want to advertise or sponsor a team who get a home attendence of 20/30 people?

Its not easy getting the money in to play players, and its only the chairman who have money burning holes in their pockets that use it to bring players in, to make their "business" more efficient and profitable.

I'm not being funny, but players aren't forced to do this, why should the taxpayer help with that?

 

I'm not being unsympathetic, god knows Eton Manor can do with every extra penny it finds, but really, it is not a public service.

 

And don't tell me they waste enough money on other rubbish, that is true, but this would just add to things that I don't my taxes to be spent on.
