from what I can gather rolly, the board are not prepared to chuck money at the club like Chelski and want to get a sound business model first. Yes the ticket prices thing is sh1t, but at least when our owners get boared, we wont be in as much of a mess as the likes to Chelski, Scum Utd & Man Shieki et al would be

obviously you are too thick to realise I was making a comment on the claim that Arsenal are a 'british' club. If you have ever had the opportunity to watch Arsenal play, you will have heard all opposition fans shout 'Engerland, ENG-GER-LAND'. A joke on the fact that Arsenal have very few English players.

All I am saying BJR, yes they are successful at the moment, but what happens when the likes of Abramovich and Glazer et al get bored and pull the money out. Thats the point I am trying to get across.

 

To some extent it has already happened at Newcastle. The owner has been forced out and ok financially they are not in a mess yet, but current form show the affects.

I agree TC. I really want Chelsea to win the Champions league as I reckon RA will move onto Motor Racing with Williams. Yes he will leave Chelsea debt free and with great facilities but he will also leave them with players on huge contracts that the club will not be able to afford. English football is heading for a huge financial meltdown and I for one will not be sorry except for the people, like yourself, who will lose their jobs because of it.
