a message for all the regulars on this board and enrico in particular:

when people assosociated with Basildon United FC start coming on this forum telling the rest of the league that we're champions elect and superior to everyone else in the division then feel free to give us some stick when we lose our first league match or go out of the Vase, you can then knock us down a peg but unless im very much mistaken no one involved with the club is acting all 'billy big bollo cks',the players all seem to be modest hard working lads and theres no massive egos off the pitch either,were delighted with our start and most ESL people have been complimentary and wished us well,stop trying to put pressure on us enrico and concentrate on matters at lower road.

no TBag ive got no 'axe to grind' with you Romford crowd,theres been no mind games from your lot and i eager await our clashes next month,in fact an ideal season for me and im not saying for one moment that this would happen but i would love to see you finish in runners up position behind us so you could then take the promotion spot and return to the ryman.

Serious question........ what is the current position re Basildon's ground?

the same as it has been for the last 17 years,we can smarten the place up but we cant do any serious work like renovating stands which would allow us to apply for promotion,the compulsory purchase order still remains.
