crikey... that was a desperate 15 minutes after dale was sent off and elliot made a fantastic goal line save al la banks/pele to secure the win....great stuff and magnificent defending under enormous pressure...

 

not a hint of a drama as the urchins took the game to bromley from the kick off and thoroughly deserved the lead from a well taken janners penalty....if supa duppa had worn boots instead of trainers it would have been all over at half time and in the second half we continued to dominate and bromley appeared to have almost given up....the home end was totally silent with the gobby urchins in full fa cup voice....and then it happened....

 

dale lost the plot and rushed out of his area with seemingly no danger around and completely missed his kick and dragged his hand across the ball as it went past him.....red card and harsh maybe but it was handball outside of the box.....elliot dons the jersey and of course for the first time in the game the bromley players came to life and piled into our area in waves but some magnificent heroic defending from the lads and a great save from elliot saw us through into the draw on monday...the whole team and staff can be proud of themselves this evening as can the 200 travelling urchin desperados who must be hoarse tonight....you can't beat the fa cup to bring the best out of the urchin army....smile drinkies

 

very friendly and welcoming hosts and a great set up at bromley and many thanks to them but the day belonged to the red and white army so well done everyone....

 

great theatre...great cup day out...applause

You'll have to wait until the round after to get Grays. They don't come into the competition until the 4th QR.

14th October at home barring any cup replay.

Good news, i was going to see the Hornchurch on the next 2 cup dates anyway so i'll be at both games. Then Orient in round 1 so i don't have to choose.
