It's good to here that you believe you can survive your problems and I wish you the best of luck.I do think the principles behind my post that the resources behind football in this country are not fairly distributed are correct.If,hopefully,the trust take over the club where will you be playing?

another club in trouble ( seems to be Ramsgate ) thumped 4-1 at home . 8 goals conceded in two games , not good . I wonder who Ward will blame this one on , probably the weather conditions but his boys gave it all and really should have got something from today . Up the Gate .

Had to laugh when I saw the result come up on SkySports. What an awful result because, let's be honest, Tooting weren't anything special when we went up there and, but for a shocker of a ref, we would have got at least a point.

Also, if we now put into perspective our start to the season, I think we have actually played 5 of the top 6? So maybe we have been too harsh on the lads, and they have actually made quite a solid start.

Regarding the start of the season, I agree with Dutch Mike and it is what I said a couple of weeks ago (well, near enough anyway).

 

If you consider that we have a team the majority of whom had never played together before the start of the season, and the real disasters have been Canvey and Worthing with all the other results being reasonably close, it doesn't look too bad for a start.

 

Hopefully it won't be too long before the teams above us start looking over their shoulders.

So 13 teams, and Ramsgate are the worst? That's terrible. Have you thought about switching to Margate? A promising and entertaining young team, nice bar, all your friends on the forum etc...
