Polands participation in staging this event is under serious threat because they cannot find enough workers to complete this project on time.

I think you'll find its just as much the Ukraine at fault as Poland...

 

"European football's governing body UEFA are in Bordeaux to debate whether the Ukraine and Poland can still co-host the 2012 European Championship, with a decision expected Friday.

 

Though the Ukraine unveiled its first, newly-built 40-million-dollar arena recently and are building more arenas, doubts persist about the preparedness of the two countries.

 

When UEFA president Michel Platini visited both countries earlier this year he was unhappy at the lack of progress and warned officials they could lose the right to host Euro 2012 if considerable improvements were not made.

 

Fears were also voiced over security problems when police arrested 741 supporters after a street battle between rivals Polonia and Legia fans broke out.

 

The PZPN are also fighting a major corruption scandal involving dozens of coaches, referees and officials, while Listkiewicz has admitted problems with the stadium construction in Gdansk."

it doesn't help the slow construction of the stadia if the majority of their workforce is over here taking advantage of the money on offer.Perhaps the two countries governments should offer incentives to the workforce to help their own countries rather than chase the buck over here.If they can't do such a thing then they shouldn't host the finals.

As for the hooligan problem in poland,it is getting worse and worse,there is no football intelligence in poland although they are talking about creating one,this is 5-10 years too late.

With just over three months to go how do members think Euro 2012 will go, clearly the whole tournament from England's perspective hinges on the appointment of Harry Redknapp otherwise there will be little or no interest!
