This is where we all really have to pull out the stops and get right behind the whole of the Billericay Town 1st team squad.

 

I read the article in This is total Essex Early this morning and it really is looking good for us at present, Players coming back and a bit of a buzz going around the club.

 

So come on and try your best to get to Sutton to support the BLUES this coming Saturday.

The FA Cup games are always exciting, Sutton are a good side with lots of experience, our fans can play a big part Saturday, if they get going then their energy will help lift our players.

 

and if the Sutton Home support is anything like the away support then we could outnumber them.

We had our chances in the first half altho I think the score flattered them. Again, a game ruined by the opposition play acting. Nichols leading from there front with a shameless act to try and get Flackie sent off!!!

 

The positives (if there are any), Jamie Dormer came through and we can concentrate on the league (doh!!!)

Oh well, I'm sure you'll rejoice that we are out as well. We were so poor it was beyond belief. At least you can say the blues played well!!!.........why is it sometimes players just don't turn up!!

 

Shame, would have liked a bit of a cup run.....thats football!!!

No rejoicing at all LF...That it is indeed...Football...and we didn't play badly. In fact played well in the first half...just tailed off in the 2nd.

First half wasn't bad but the second was pretty poor. I agree, the only bright point was Dormer coming on (and another keeper error for the goal), but overall disappointing.

I don't think we can have any complaints about the result.

 

I thought we shaded the first half and missed some good chances to go in ahead but they were pretty much in control after the break.

 

If we are going to continue hoofing the ball forward then we need to get in a 6' 3" forward who might occasionally win it. Sutton are a decent side at this level but we've got to start giving ourselves a chance.

 

Good to see Dorms back on the pitch. I hope we can improve in the coming weeks.

1st have was great just could not finish again. 2nd half where were we? and i mean all of us.

 

To be fair Nichols is a cheating scumbag but he did have the last laugh the little [****!!****].

 

Shame Dunk was sent off because of a shirt tug he only did what they were doing for most of this game and the last one.

 

Hat's of to the Billericay town supporters for showing up in more numbers than them.

I dont moan a lot, but why do we keep playing these long balls to our strikers when they are too small to actually win them!!?!?!?!?!?! Can we not play the passing game at all? Also i thought the crosses from both wings was poor today, especially in the second half.

 

Moaning over, i have to say in the first half we played really well, PASSING the ball but couldnt convert our chances which did prove to be the deciding factor.

 

So what happened second half? Who turned the lights out at half time? Like tuesday they had most of the possesion but managed to convert their chances.

 

But you cant complain on the result. Anyways moaning over haha, good to see dorms back, hopefully we will start playing the passing game, shame about lynvall but at least its only 1 game.

For me the difference between the 2 sides was on the bench - when Sutton wanted to change things around in the second half they had plenty of options - we didn't. Up until they made the double substitution there hadn't been much between the 2 sides, we had had a couple of good chances, both sides had hit the woodwork.

 

With the substitutions Sutton were able to tighten up at the back and give themselves another option in attack and that gave them the edge.

 

It's a shame that we won't have another good cup run this year, but I wasn't too downheartened by the performance, particularly in the first half. Good to see Dorms back on the pitch, showed a few good touches though understandably looked a bit rusty.
