Heard this morning that Maskell has left and gone to Chatham, anyone verify this????

That would on the face of it be a pity,but maybe Messrs Ward and Ashby are not both wrong.

 

We have been'lucky with the fitness and lack of suspensions to key midfielders Wislon and stubbs so far, but bit of a concern if injuries/suspension/loss of form strike one of them.

 

still BA can only play 11/16 players and it seems that Curtis Robinson should now part of the first team reckoning aswell

Can't say I was too impressed with him anyway and certainly did not see anything to justify all the hype surrounding him.

Again, i hope that maskell is still with margate-another player who would only get better and improve the team.

As above though, maybe you can only have so many players-meention of Robinson,Parkinson (until November )in addition to Paul Smith who can all arguably play defensive midfield roles.

 

Another player at the club-who i have not seen-but can only go by 'reports' is possibly Nick Treadwell -who seems to get consistently good reports for the reserves.

 

is he more an attacking than defensive midfielder though ?

Definitely gone to Chatham, according to today's Thanet Times. Nothing else about the Gate other than a paragraph about the Youth team losing to Hastings.
