Major headache for Sweets Saturday?

Chris

Recommended Posts

got a lot of options for the central midfield 3 when everyones fit too:

Brown, Pritchard, Riddell, Bubb, Dickens, Windsor

would be harsh on Platt if he was dropped but i wouldnt think any of the main 3 strikers would be seen as guaranteed starters by Sweets long term. Bubb is more of a support striker or attacking midfielder than an out and out striker

need more backup for the wingbacks/fullbacks but first team in Durrant and Mcognigley is strong there

squad is shaping up very well

good headaches for Saturday though and beyond that

wouldnt be able to predict Saturdays line up tbh

It seems that we can play a 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 comfortably with the players we have. Like you, I certainly would not be able to predict the team or the system - the number of options now available certainly keeps things interesting.

A lot will depend on whether McGonigley and Durrant will be fit and available to play.

Better to have a selection headache over which of our good players to play than to have a selection headache over how many players we have available! It's good to not be able to predict the team because of the quality rather than the fact that the squad keeps changing like last year!

Having only been to the Farnborough match recently, I think that we need to keep Platt in the team, and DJ too because they play well together, and the other spot will have to be a bit of rotation between Romeo and Bubb, probably down the right, though the one who misses out would probably come off the bench anyway.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow and seeing who plays!

I would imagine if Gray is on the way out, we may see Yash/Bubb on the wing and the other one benching. As for the rest of midfield id go Brown Pritchard Dicko, but hey thats just my opinion the other option (which id like a look at would be 3-4-1-2)

Midfield of Brown Pritchard Dicko Bubb

Yash Holding behind Platty and DJ
