Ressies v Cray - Will BA be there????

I wonder, with no first team game on Saturday, and BA taking first team training (Hartsdown i suppose).

Will we be graced with BA/PS's Presence to watch the ressies, and some of the up and coming stars of tomorrow?

Mark,Terry and Nev are doing a great job coaching these young lads. Their experience is starting to pay off and what a great chance for some of the fringe players to shine, or will we see some of the first teamers coming back from injury getting a run out?

I understand that the U18's are playing in the FA youth cup, so we will probably be without Krunic, Gray, Wheatley, Gonzales Belo (GB),Taylor.

See you Saturday BA or not???

Gate won 1-0 and fielded a much more organised side with the addition of First Team / Fringe players starting. Nice to see Ashby there taking a look.

Line Up

Beresford (GK) Harker, Teadwell, Robinson, Vanninsberg

Axon, Morris, Hickman, Quain

Ebb ??, Coleman

Subs Used - Payne, Keci, Greaves

A very good result against a physical Cray side (numerous bookings for them).

I am sure that Blue Gate Alan will fill you in with a full report.

I ventured up today, and was glad I did. They were well organised and comfortable on the ball. Quain and Eb played very well I thought. However, I thought Coleman looked woefully short on confidence. He is a good player, but struggled to even cope at this level today.

A minor thing to throw out there to gather opinion - Terry Yorath was wandering around the pitch and organising the defence / midfield from the other other side. I just wonder if that potentially steps on MW's toes?

Good result.

good team-looks a 'proper 'reserve side -as opposed to youth players.

Not that there is anything wrong with that-just shows how well things are progressing on pitch imo.

Thats probably a stronger team than some of us were anticipating representing the first team around about early June !!

Up the 'Gate
