F.A. Youth Cup Game Tonight,

I have spoken to the office and, as I suspected, this is the process that has always been applied to PASE matches.

 

We don't open the front turnstiles because a) due to the small numbers attending, the club car park is used so the away turnstiles are more convenient and b)frankly it we had to open a turnstile at the front, it's an additional cost and not considered worth it for the small numbers attending.

 

We will ensure visitors receive more information about this and work out how best to notify home fans.

 

Regarding the 1st team players having to pay for entry, because it's a cup match any gate receipts are shared with the opposition. Under the competition rules we are allowed 8 complimentary tickets as are they. So we have to charge all others entry so the opposition can receive their fair share of the attendance money.

I remember going to a Youth game last season and there was a home turnstyle open. But thanks for letting us know.

I do believe it was the Barnet game I attended when one of the main turnstiles was open. I may be wrong

Us newbies to PASE games are not aware of the rules. The club lossed revenue (albeit small beer, but every little helps) due to fans leaving from the main gate entrance unable to get in.

This was done for some of the other games I attended.
