Canterbury City FC' new ground???

What you have to remember Canterbury City are a community football club and embrace both male and female teams as well as providing football facilities for the non able bodied members of the public. I suggest that the next time you see Mr P. Knight (Canterbury) listed as the referee you talk to him about getting the council on your side.

You do have a meat obsession June.

The council appear to be very good at knocking themselves without our help Chris. It is a well known fact that Frankies best mate Ezekiel (dem bones dem bones...) would like nothing better than Hartsdown Park to be the next Taylor Wimpey housing estate. (God help us, I live on one!!!!)

Hartsdown Park was GIVEN to the town by a former mayor for the benefit of the towns people and to be used for leisure purposes.

Despite there being a covenant on the area along with Dane Park and Northdown Park that has not stopped this council led by Ezekiel trying to sell off areas to housing when they have no legal right to do so.

Maybe he expects to be given the carpeting contract for all new houses built

I believe that Jackey Bakers has a similar covenent but that has not stopped a chunk of it being taken up (and therefore one football pitch less) for the new Westwood access road.
