Hornchurch sh..hole of a ground but you can take beer out on to the terraces and the barmaids(The Urchinettes,I think) in the Urchins Bar are very fit indeed!

 

EFM will definitely enjoy their visit next season!

We are very fit at EFM, at Croydon a couple of seasons ago two of us run the entire running track during the game

It's not a great ground at all! Would take alot to get it up to Conference standard.

Yeading were managed by Johnson Hippolyte, used to play for us, one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet in non-league, also managed our reserves for a while. They also took on the superb Dereck Brown from us, he had many seasons of real quality with us, known by Woking fans simply as 'The Legend'.

 

From what I am told they have quite a good set up down Yeading way, how did the game go?

Yeading looked a good side, really up for it, whilst we just could not be bothered.

 

I remember that Canvey fan saying that on the Shoutbox Colin, and I thought at the time that it was pretty arrogant. If you look at one of my postings on the Canvey forum I've said we have to take Yeading seriously, but look what happened!

 

Didn't really learn our lesson from Slough did we?
