Capital League - Thursday 25th Sep

>>>Dags call them iced teas and you can charge more............in times of need...

To explain, iced teas are only served in winter, until the heating is put on.

Cold teas are served from 6.30 to 7.00 when the boiler is warming up.

Lukewarm to warm teas from 7.00 to 7.15 - they look warm to me.

Hot teas from 7.30 onwards.

Hot or cold tease, come over the Bridge tonight and see these Young Urchins, the football last week was a delight.

Although we scored 5 last week, tonight may be different of course, there's no sure thing in football.

Main thing is it's a great nite, footie, bar is open, food and a pint for a fiver, can't be bad.

The boyz need your support at all levels, so you Urchins I ask that you turn up tonight and on Saturday in South London in your great numbers.

I would say that just about all the goals were in the spectacular class, and if I had to choose the best of them all I would probably go for Sam Higgins' chip after his thirty yard run, but also Dave Sadler's power volley, Dave Sadler's ball control for his first goal, Kris Lee's incredible control from Dean Green's high centre, and of course the 70 yard sprint by Donny Barnard to claim the right to take the penalty - he was furthest away from the ball, but got there first.

Not to mention the four shots all cleared off the line in the space of ten seconds, immediately after half time, and some excellent saves by Grant Lee.

This match ranks as one of the best at the Bridge, though when they came back from four down to four three I was not too sure they could hold out.
