Tonight's ESL results (23/9)

For a series of late unfortunate circumstances(illnesses, injuries, work, holidays) we couldn't field a team out of a big squad that we have.We informed the league straight away and it seems like the game will be played saturday 4th October. We apologize to everyone but it wasn't for lack of trying.Roons,we don't have a ressies side at Hullbridge and our 18s don't have many players available at the moment. One of those things and we are not the first or the last to have encountered this kind of problem:after all even a multimilions pound premiership team like Middlesborough couldn't field a team once.

I wouldn't say that. It's just that we had too many players pulling out ill or couldn't get time off work or didn't recover quick enough from injuries all in once. The club has 25 teams, included 4 Eastern Junior Alliance teams, boast 4 full size pitches and 2 mini-soccer ones plus a club house and facilities better than most ESL clubs. All our teams play at Lower road and yes we are a well run club.Obviously all these intake of good young players could do with a ressies side helping them in the transition from youth to senior football.

Southend Manor-Enfield 3-5 which i attended and Enfield went into a 3-0 lead inside 20 minutes and at half time was a 4-1 to Enfield.Manor did get into the game a little bit more in the 2nd half and finished 5-3 to the whites.JJ wasn't there (work)and Manor had Canvey Dave Kreyling playing at centre half for them.Bagpuss scored a good goal and Coulson got 2.

Chill out Bazza ya grumpy old sod. I started the thread thinking that Mitoo would have been updated, but all that was on there was the fact that Hullbridge had called off their game. Mitoo still isn't showing the scores.

However, just for you and in addition to the above Enfield v Southend Manor score.....

Don't know the Takeley v Clapton score!!!!

League Cup Group D
Mauritius Sports Association 0-3 Sawbridgeworth Town

Essex Senior Cup
Wivenhoe Town 3-0 Bowers & Pitsea
