According to rumour, Roberts [Tony, not Gary] received some level of compensation from some insursnce company when injury forced his retirement from 'the pro-game'. Someone once said £30,000, but time dims the memory.

He cannot play league football as he took a "substantial" insurance pay out due to a hand injury.

 

Dagenham keep saying they will review the situation at the end of the season.

 

Not sure if it only applies to full time professionals.

Honeymoon was good but avoided the SARS in Hong Kong (actually stopped off at Dubai for 3 nights on the way back)
