So it's Dag & Red v Doncaster for a place in the league.

Who do you want to win?

 

This is a hard one, Whereas I like Garry Hill for the season he gave us I don't like him for running off and nicking half our team, I also hate Tony Roberts with a passion after his antics when he played for us. I do feel a bit sorry for them as they were pretty much cheated last year.

Doncaster however had a chairman who burnt down the ground and they've come back, they also have massive crowds. There is also a great possabilty that they will give Aldershot Town a good off the feild kicking next season so it'll be good in that respect if they stay down!

Doncaster for me, they have the crowds to sustain themselves in the Football League. Am I the only person in favour of just 1 up from the Conference?

I watched part of the Chester/Doncaster match in the pub and it was great entertainment. Certainly these Conference playoffs have provided real excitement and certainly bring in the crowds.

 

Have to admit Tony Roberts is a bit of a to$$er. He was goading the Canvey supporters at the ESC final a few years ago.

 

I would like to see Daggers get into the football league and I think they would get the crowds to sustain themselves at that level (3500 for their play off match against Morecambe).

 

Obviously Doncaster have more tradition so the final will be a tough game.

I vote for going back to only one up from the Conference. Was in the 9,000+ at Exeter, and you had to feel sorry for them.

Cannot agree, herts blue. I think it should be 3 up 3 down, the same as the rest of the divisions. It has been too cushy for too long for the Div 3 teams. They need to earn the right to stay up.

3 up 3 down everywhere.. top 2 and a play off place.. till it goes regional then 4 down n 2 up from each feeder (only 2 feeders please) playoof fo rthe second slot....lots a promotion n relegation is good and its no big disaster going down if you have a good shout of getting back up.. if it makes em feel better get rid of the 'non league' tag.. all a bit pointless really, call it div 4
