In the non league paper it says some struggling conference south clubs are using a minibus for away games.How many people use the coach at Slough.Its something we take for granted.maybe it's better to start leaving the car at home.

I've been on the coach for some of the longer journeys this season, and there's been between 30 and 40 each time.

 

I'm not sure about the shorter trips though.

there is usually at least twenty on the coach from mu knowledge, average at 10 pounds thats 200 so it can make money even at a small scale

Thing is with the league we are in now getting to grounds is a lot easier than in the Ryman. Take someone like Dulwich Hamlet for example. Most people would coach that journey than go by car as it's a nightmare.

Tell Mr Harding where he can get a coach & driver for 5/6 hours for a return trip of 60-100 miles & cover cost @

The coach doesn't make money - I thought it was run at a small loss (or at least as small as possible).

 

As I understand it, the cost is also heavily subsidised by Drivetime Coaches, who we've been using for a number of years - but could always do with the extra passengers.
