That's what he's there for Takers.

Agree that it was a good competitive game which could have gone either way. Don't know about you but I personally am happy with our hard won point in front of your best crowd of the season so far I think (115).

See you in the league cup!

We lost 2-0 and had 3!!! players sent off!!Two goals in the first 10 minutes with our players still on a 2 1/2 hours coach journey. We took control of the game after that and when we thought we were going to get some goals back,a big scuffle erupted. They had one player sent and one booked and we had 2 plus another one 5 minutes later off leaving us 8 vs 10 for the last 25 minutes of the game!!!They should regionalized the 3 rounds..too much travelling for a football game at our level,it affects the away team in one way or another!!I got back 10 minutes ago... crazy

Unlucky Rico, sounds like a tough one. I know what you're saying about the long away trips so early in the comp, but that's what memories are made of. Those long away days where you win, lose or draw but that linger long in the memory and are recalled years later!!!

Hookey,we left at 10.30 and got there at 1.40 going M11 A14 A43 avoiding the big delays on M25 JCT 21A,stopped for 20 minutes at the services on the A14 and basically a 3 hours journey for a fotball game.Too much mate and not all players can cope with a journey like that.We still finished strong with 8 players though!!Yes there was a drinkies nice one on the way back but i'm just shattered and i haven't played!

This is where you get it wrong...it's amateur football and this cup was once called FA Amateur Cup!!You big time charlie!!semi-pro you're having a laugh!!

Where to start!!

Jenko, slobber my knobcheese you Gooner kent.

T.A.F.K.A.M.9, I'm down with the street, although I can still remember them with cobbles and tramlines.

Coachie, Anton called it right, the traveling is all part of the pyramid and the "National" cups.

I can definitely vouch for Lightweight on his away coach exploits.

Do you remember the Vase at St Ives? (attempt two!) Of course not! Haha, classic trips.

I personally love going to grounds I've not been to, against sides I've not had games with and on a coach, all quality stuff. The longer the trip the better IMO.

Hookey, the only non league players that should be considered semi-pro are the ones playing in the Conference teams that train 2-3 times a week and have full time status. The others are simply amateurs like on the Continent.Professional football is the League and Premiership one.A lot of these big time charlies that have been discarder by Academies like boasting themselves telling their mates that they play semi-pro football! It ain't mate,it's amateur football or dilettanti like they say in Italy where teams at our level and above train 3-4 times at week, get a
