Is not the best way to do something like Leeds Utd did and take a 13 points deduction?

If it clears all the debts and puts the club on sound footing from then on. Surely it's better than to have this dragging on and on.

Either that or if anyone's got a Russian billionaire or rich Arab prince, as a mate, maybe now is a good time to give him a call.

I must admit that my 1st thought was that the Club would not of let us in on the situation if they didn't already have this in hand.

They must of known that this would come back to bite them on the backside at some point and I just hope that they had a plan already in place.

Just to be sure,I don't think I will be visiting Rocking Richard in the Club Shop on Tuesday to pick up my new shirt.

Lets stick with it and hope for the best. We have been here before remember and come out the other side if a little worse for wear.

Up the Gate, fingers crossed.

Isn't this exactly what JJ has been saying albeit in a different manner.

I would add that I would be surprised if any Rams fans actually want Margate to go under. We relish the local rivalry. Good luck for the future, and hope there is a happy ending. I've been assured on at least three occasions that the Rams have reached the end of the road in the last thirty years and we're still here.

What I would say is that I have never had any regard for local councillors. If they were any good, they would have a real job. They show no vision or business capability with the result that Thanet is now a 120,000 strong retirement home. When I visit from Leeds I am always shocked at the run down nature of the shopping areas and the whiny negative letters in the local press. If we had a council as good as Dartford's the plan for both teams to ground share at Haine would have ensured the survival of both clubs. In fact, the failure of that project probably cost Margate more dearly as you would almost certainly be at least one division higher.

Btw the Ashley Burton rumours have been officially denied by Martin Able who knows what he is talking about. Ashley is at uni and it was always expected his time with us would centre round holidays.

Been thinking about this winding up order. Am I right is saying that Margate FC Ltd do not own anything anymore and only pay the players wages. I think Generation Sports and London and Margate own the only things that are worth anything. Am I right in saying that London and Margate own the lease on the ground the 5 aside centre. Do you think that MFC Ltd may be bought out.

I wonder if this is the case. If it is then its a very clever move. These are just my thoughts!
