I am pleased to announce that Paul Parker has been appointed as first team manager for next season. As of yet no assistant has been named.

 

May I take this oportunity to thank Mick for all his efforts at the club.

 

He will always be welcomed to come and drink in the clubhouse.

Is this serious? Might be wrong on this, but it does sound like one of those rumours. It would be a shame to see Mick go. He has done a great job in my view and I'm not sure why we need to replace him.

mick marsden is our manager and will stay our manager...we are looking to change a few things around next year and are thinking about bringing in a first team coach....that's it.......rumours are always rife when a club is successful....

by the way fans.....nothing will happen at your club without you knowing about it....thats a promise okay.......

Glad to hear it Official. I for one would like to see Mick continue to play a big part in our future ambitions. Only seems fair that he should be given that chance after the job he has done the past few years. I love this club, and quite frankly next season things wouldn't be the same without Mick.

Also, saw the new stand on Saturday. Very Nice!! The ground looks terrific.

there is no point in getting involved in this....Mick Marsden is as much a part of our club as I am....he will be our football team manager next year.....thats it....(unless he leaves of course).......so.......yes there will be changes...rightly so...onwards and upwards......but.....Mick stays .....OK

I think Mick should stay, he and the other members of his management team have done a fantastic job and deserve a lot of credit for all the hard work they have put in during a long season and also deserve a crack at the Prem.

Theres mention of a new first team coach, what about the others there always seems to be plenty of coaches/assistants on the bench already. Are there going to be more ?

I simply meant that for a team that hasn't exactly had the most successful past, we have had a lot of rumours regarding the possible sale of many of our players. Why do we have to get a new first team coach. I like the one we have.....very comfortable. Maybe new tyres and seats re-upholstered but thats it.

If that's the case then why is the club currently in the process of interviewing three Managers ?

 

I'd heard a `rhumour' that Colin Lipiatt (former Yeovil & Woking Manager) was possibly going to be the new first team coach.I certainly saw hem at Hornchurch recently Don't know how true this is...apart from Chesham he's got a decent pedigree

 

...mind you I think I spotted george Borg :-( too !!
