the coach thing needs some thought.....matt did it for a good few years and it was great but it was also subsidised by matts activities and by the club (and lets not argue about that...it was)..we have then had a few incidents regarding toilets...dizzys rant.. (he hasn't been seen since...sorry diz but true)....

 

annie worked really hard to get the coach filled up for margate and walden but also had a fair bit of earache...she is a fan and doesn't need that....

 

over to you guys...!!

there is no doubt that the price increase has also had a bearing but i think that brentwood coaches are trying to push us out as supporters without actually saying so,sort of trying to save face.

The incident regarding the toilet was of no fault of annies or the club,the driver claimed that because we had not booked a toilet,the toilet had not been sanitised therefore could not be used but i have never heard so much crap in all my life.In my view it is just another way of them pushing us out without actually having the balls to say it.

In all the times we have been on the coach i do not recall more than 3 or 4 incidents (one being ramsgate,which i was not on so i can't comment about that)

We used to get bags for rubbish supplied by the company but not anymore,the standard has gone down and the price goes up.

As i have said before,if no one wants to do the coach then i will do it but as i have also said,if there are two people involved it can get confusing,especially as there can be two lists at one time and names double booked.

i personally think they are taking the p1ss with the price hike,and i know i am not alone,I understand that fuel prices have gone up but as we have also been helping them for 6 years with support from hornchurch fc i feel their price increase is too much.

I am only basing my comments on the last few matches from what i understand,the price increase far outweighs the actual fuel increase.

Annie told me that nette had a call from a company offering coaches for non league fans,i assume they are some sort of agency offering coaches.Was that true,how much did they want

If everyone is still happy using brentwood then i will go with the flow,i was just dissapointed with saturdays service.

Saying that,if we can get something cheaper toilet or not then as long as the driver don't mind making the odd p1ss stop then i can't see what harm it can do to try another company.

Now do we want a coach to bromley and who is taking names for it.

 

 

 

All i want is to see as many urchins get to away games as i feel that when we have good away support we tend to get better results.Coincidence or not the games we have not won on the road this season have been tooting(hoirrible tuesday night,with not many there) and heybridge,bank holiday when alt of people were away.

im ok to carry on with it and get names as i have done for other away days.

 

Just the one or two things i dislike at mo is-

1. being nagged about no toilet / toilet not working - i know this isnt my fault, but when trying to offer my help to 49 people its not too nice.

 

2. People who put their names down and then on the day drop out!

 

but as Unc says above deal with it at club not on here smile

As far as people dropping out,this has always been a problem but there is no real way round it,most people put their names down in the belief they will be able to go.Maybe you can stress to everyone at the time the problems invloved in taking names and then having some cancel as this can obviously affect the price charged on others.I think if people give 48 hours or more notice then thats fair as circumstances can change.Anyway,thats enough from me,please stick me down for one for bromley
