That's a cushy little earner!!! I like it

Do you get any overnight 'incidents'? I dunno, graffiti artists in a station or something?

Don't know about my silverlink counterpart but I have station staff for that sort of thing.

Especially handy from bringing cups of tea round.

I guess I'm suppost to watch the cameras overnight but bollox to that!
I'm in the SDC, we have a kitchen, dartboard, SKY digital, internet and championship manager on the computer, we also have the pleasure of as much fried chicken as we can eat in Harlesden High Street.

With overtime, over £25K

Kitchen in office next door, cm4 on the pc, platform staff cook a meal on nights! :-) However there is the town centre accross the bridge with the delights of KFC, McDonalds, Burger King & Wimpy all for the taking.....

.....oh and I'd agree with the salary statement - very poor year if that was all I had earnt.

I'm in Kent & I live 7/8 miles from where I work.....

9 or 15 minutes by train station to station (depends on which train) - my record by train and bus is 15 minutes! (I came out of the station and just made the bus which was empty all the way to my house!)

Couldn't beat that time in a car.....

It takes between 30 mins and 45 mins from St.Albans to Willesden Junction.

Harlesden town centre is the most rubbish ever, although we do have a McDonalds everything else is 50p and £1 shops, fried chicken and pizza places - CZ would love it here

In fact I may pop down in a minute, I've been chewing gum for hours as I spent all afternoon in the pub and now It's made me hungrey

I'm not joking, I've done so many English towns thru football, gigging etc..., but nowhere is worse than a place called Bilston in the Black Country.Newsagents with nothing in 'em,no shops you've ever heard of apart from Woolies,1 road I saw about 100 houses, only 11 of them weren't boarded up and just 8/9 cars! What a s***hole. It makes Lewisham look good...!!!!

Proof that poverty really does exist in the UK. Shocking!

Been there!! Went there the season we won the Trophy! Some old boy in a Stetson Hat wouldn't let us out the bar, cause we had press passes!! They played in Tangerine too, we won, it was a Trophy match - we passed Villa Park on the way there and returned in May to lift the Trophy.

One of the most depressing places I've been to is Wigan. Loads of boarded up houses, shops, even a boarded up pub! Very depressing.

Wigan's ground is situated in a retail estate in the middle of nowhere beside a canal. The only pub within walking distance was a traditional family pub with no SKY TV. The area is seriously bleak although the ground is very impressive.

Just think West Ham could be playing there next season!!

I've done Wigan 3 or 4 times, it's not all bad, town centre looks quite nice. Agreed about the ground though, if they'd made it 10000 less capacity then they might generate some atmosphere.

Oldham and Hartlepool are nothing to talk about though
