I was at the pub but I've had to work tonight. If i pull a sicky on a Sunday I don't get paid for it as Sunday isn't part of the working week and I get paid £140 for basically sleeping.

 

I did suggest everyone did a whip round to raise my wages but we only managed £100 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You run thousands of trains, we've only got 12 running at the moment and 3 of them terminate in the next 5 minutes.

It's Sunday. the line between Dartford & Gravesend is closed until tuesday morning (part of eurotunnel rail link project) and is already over-running by 3 hours.

 

Normally on a sunday, I have 12 trains an hour passing through / terminating here - today I have 6 an hour.....

 

Still, this job doesn't involve the general public!
