(referee was dreadful)
unbelieveable went all the way over to the the corner flag where stacey long was taking a corner in the second half to tell him the ball was not in the circle.guess what the ball was in the circle.then to chants of you do not know what you doing.he trundled all the way back to his original position. classic moment

I found Wrexham to be very friendly - especially when I needed a couple of pointers finding the stadium. Seemed like a nice little town centre too as I walked on by. The ref was dreadful, I think both sides lost out and gained in equal measure from him (so at least he wasn't biased). Don't sell yourselve short! You could argue we were lucky to get away with a 3-2 loss since you hit the woodwork twice. I think you will be there or there abouts like us.

It's probably fair to say the referee was more guilty of being excessively pernickety rather than of making lots of really bad decisions. A near-two-minute discussion over a second half free-kick of ours was particularly entertaining.

Not too disheartened by the result - it was a fairly good, albeit not vintage performance. On another day, it could have gone another way, but Wrexham were the better side overall. A particular highlight, though, was realizing that it was probably the first time I'd watched a Fleet league game in a stand's second tier - now we know we've arrived...

I was pleasently surprised and pleased at the welcome we received. Normally , ex league clubs treat us with contempt and yesterday was a welcome break.

A good bit of banter between both sets of fans who were bought together by an inept referee.

We were parked next to the club coach in our minibus(s) and mixed quite happily with your fans watching the second half of the Liverpool game.

Steward was informative talking about the history of the ground and the problems in the last few years.

A pleasent trip with the exception of the result.

We got home safely after a 3 and a bit hour poodle home vis Oswestry for foooooood.

Looking forward to subsequant trips to Barrow and Altrincham in the next three weeks

Yeah. Apart from the result, yesterday was a nice day. Agree with what everyone says about Wrexham being a friendly place. Was chatting with a few Wrexham fans in the pub pre match and then on the train back afterwards. Nice chaps.

The ref was truly bad wasn't he? He was worse than the muppet who did the Cambridge match.

We got delayed on the way back as we missed a connection in Wolverhampton so it was a pretty long journey home but the ale was flowing.

Just uploaded my photos of it all.

We didn't let the delays dampen our spirits, few beers and a new sport. Got back at about half twelve.

Next up...Barrow away

Yesterday's train journey home was one of the best train journey's I've ever had, thanks to all involved.

From The Wrexham fan we met and came back some of the way with us to almost getting kicked out of the station at Wolverhampton and then getting back to Gravesend at something past midnight it was an awesome journey.
