and so it turned out to be as the urchins weathered a 15 minute bout of giant killing enthusiasm from the home side and then strolled through the game with ease....a great volley from the stylesman (is he the find of the decade at Hx or what?) and great to see young ross wall finally get his just desserts and slot home the second after a nice mazy run....

 

ref and linos useless and we should have had at least 4 penalties..(the last was totally embarrassing and even the home bench were in stitches) but the game was won comfortably and dales strip won't need washing tomorrow...

 

really nice people and great hospitality...nice little ground and for those that haven't been... the old market town is a day trippers delight..

 

well done the travelling fans and colin and the boyseys and into the draw on monday....

special mention for tree boy who didnt spill a drop of his lager with a 5 yard dash to retrieve the ball for lee hodges,must say very free n easy with the drinkin in saffy today plus well chuffed with 3.50 entrance fee for an f.a cup tie just magic and 3 grand better off,shame really but a giant killin was never really on the cards today from the word go well done lads and all the best to saffy for the rest of the season

Agree completely, Elliot Styles is probably the best player ive seen at Hornchurch, and imo the best ive seen in the Ryman League. He doesnt bottle out of anything and sticks his head in anywhere.
