Thought we were so unlucky not to get a replay, though to be honest we were never going to win on the day. For whatever reason, they had our front three tied up, without being the best defence I've seen this year. Also think subs should have been used to try to force a result. The chavs were a pain in the ear drums, and I thought that swearing was meant to be a kicking out offence at any ground, regardlesss of the fact that most is now in every day usage. So it's ok to swear at away fans, but not their own! If you swear at your own you are ejected! Double standards. They were calling us exactly the same as what they called the lady who told them to cut it out, so what's the difference. Having said that, they were there "supporting" their local team, so fair play to them. Though to watch 3 lads of about 18/19 being "adored" by a bunch of 13-15 year olds was so sad.

 

Agree with Wiz, the Cirencester manager leaving will prob make them better, can agree with his contacts, he was a mouthy ignorant whatsit who would fit in well with the Farnborough chavs. Actually they were more constructive ,than he was last time I heard him.

Really, really hope DJ stays. Is one of my favourite players. Has made a great impression with the fans and have taken to him really well.

Of course he will stay, he's so loyal, why would he want to go play at a higher level for more money.I understood that one of the reasons stated for him joining Slough was that he had good friends here-surely they are still good friends.Anyway he might end up like that other loyalist Pierson who now plays at a league lower than us ( and they said he only went because it was a higher league )
But take comfort from the fact that these players were all hand picked so I expect them to stay.

Fistly, if DJ does leave it will be only to better himself as a player not because of what someone has said on a forum. Yes he will be on more money but the downside to that will be the travelling involved, according to a Farnborough supporter there nearest game is Hemel Hempstead.

Weak performance? According to Farnborough's website he was a handful to their defence all game and that is why they want him.

If your refering to Pierson as the other top player to leave, I think he was an ok player but imo we now have a much better player in Luke Evans.
