Vacancy: Assistant Coach

 

 

Bookham FC is an ambitious Combined Counties Premier Division club looking to continue its recent progress on and off the field by appointing an assistant coach to work alongside our existing first team coach.

 

The successful applicant will be helping the first team coach to deliver two coaching sessions per week, 7.30pm to 9.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

 

There is the potential for involvement with either the first or reserve team on matchdays though commitment to the training sessions is the priority.

 

The ideal candidate will be looking to develop their football coaching skills, and be particularly keen to work with senior players in a non league environment. The position would suit someone who has a level 2 coaching badge and is looking to progress towards level 3, though this is not essential and any applicants will be judged on their merits.

 

We feel it is important that our first and reserve team squads train together, and as a result we often have a large number of players at training, and need to split the group in half. The assistant coach will therefore frequently be asked to take
