Except where Amanda Knox is concerned it seems

Hookey – Not at all, Amanda Knox is clearly innocent, as, coincidentally, will be proven in about two hours from now, whereas Dizaei is totally corrupt and, I’m convinced, used his influential and equally crooked cohort Keith Vaz MP to help get him off the hook

Don't forget that Ali has got to face a re-trial in January, I believe.

I DO have very strong views about this person, but libel laws and race l;aws being what they are.........

Big JR – Whatever your views are they are not as strong as mine, what really gets me is how Dizaei was allowed to rise through the ranks so quickly and reach his heady position as if we can see through him from a mile away surely the Police Force can. Hopefully we can meet up at a Dorking or Tokyngton Manor game sometime this season and compare notes, I doubt we would be watching much of the football.

Wait for it folks, Ali Dizaei has pleaded poverty despite his 100k a year salary and has incredibly been awarded legal aid to fight against his conviction for misconduct and perverting the course of justice. Dizaei says he is 'virtually penniless' despite being re-instated at Scotland Yard on full salary and having been awarded back pay recently of some 180k, he claims that all his salary and back pay will be paid to lawyers and the people who loaned his family money 'to survive' whilst he was in jail. Bizarly Dizaei compared himself to Gandhi and Mandela who have been to jail and used it in a positive way, he said 'I am not suggesting I am even a molecule of their stature but all of us have role models to aspire to.

Big JR - I'll be interested to know what your strong views are about Ali Dizaei and where they stem from, assuming they are similar to my own that is. Here's a further insight into 'the man', for want of a better description, which makes sickening reading:

Sorry Rhodsey. You won't draw me on this one !

I have many friends of the same age as myself who are now retired from 'Plod' - A lot of from the Met.

You really should talk to them, AND a lot of still serving ethnic officers ! You might be very surprised.

I see that crooked copper Ali Dizaei is currently facing a retrial at Southwark Crown Court for misconduct in public office and for perverting the course of justice, Dizaei unsurprisingly denies all the charges following a row with web designer Mr Al-Baghdadi who he had hired but failed to pay:

Could be an interesting case !

If he wins, he'll be in for another massive pay-out !

There is a God folks, Ali Dizaei has been branded 'a criminal in uniform' and sentenced to four years in prison for perverting the course of justice:

Don't think God had anything to do with it.

According to last night's Evening Standard Ali Dizaei faces the prospect of having to pay back his Legal Aid which he falsely claimed to fight his corruption charges. The Legal Services Commission have powers to seek repayment and it is thought Dizaei has spent more than £1 million on lawyers fees however questions should surely be asked as to how he was able to successfully claim Legal Aid in the first place:
