The highlights programme will begin at 10.45pm on Setanta Sports 1 this evening with the Iceland v Scotland game. Highlights of the Croatia v England game will then be shown from 11.30pm.

Good, i think it's disgusting that we have to pay to watch England. The England games SHOULD be on BBC and ITV

I totally agree, the same way Test Match Cricket should be, however, there is no difference between it being on Setanta now, and Sky as it was before.

Personally I wouldn't bid for the England games this time. It's not just the one match you can bid for, it's all the aways as one block. Let's be honest, although there was for tonights game, there is not a large audience for Andorra/Ukraine/Belarus/Kazakhstan V England.

DR, i still have old tv, no sky or such, i saw the game in the pub with 30 or so peeps.. loved it...dont be a mug, go to a pub.. great game wasnt it comon England.....

wakey wakey,we had michael owen 10 years ago,we never had a debut like theo,you wait 5 years till you see the rest of the youngsters that wenger has produced,and although you all hate him,he has done it coz its his job and guess what,he likes the english!!!

yes wenger is a paedo,just goes to show how thick englands fans really are,the bloke tries to do his best for his adopted country and we throw it back in his face.

PS.why don't the thickos that follow england actually realise that wenger does what he does because he is actuallly a very talented man,without him walcott wouldn't of even been in the postition to score his first two goals,wenger knows(judging by his third goal) that he can play down the middle but the first two goals were made by wenger,the new henry has risen and yanited,chelsea and liverpool should be very scared,although i am sure the scousers already know what he is capable off.

And another thing, Wenger's English signings

 

Richard Wright, Matthew Upson, Jermaine pennant, Theo Walcott, Francis Jeffers, Sol Campbell.

 

Ruined Wright, Upson and Jeffers. Same would have happened to Pennant if he didn't resurrect his career somewhere else! Campbell was already a star when he joined the club, and Walcott was already in the England squad when he joined Arsenal.

Neither is Berbatov, but i don't care. I think Wenger has come close to ruining Walcott's career by making him play reserve football where he would have been better of playing for a championship/lower prem side on loan. He's been there for 3 years i think now and he has not played regular first team football during that period, which does surprise me because when he has played for Arsenal he has done a very good job.

I could claim England have suddenly come good when they included a Fulham player in the squad.

 

Put him in the team and its the World Cup for us just like 1966 team with the Fulham player in it

 

 

And Rob concerning the cricket on TV it is only worth watching when Kent play or there are Kent players in the England team
