Having watched the Cheshunt game, I see the ETFC team at pre-season stage, the team is (after the last 2 games) well drilled and motivated but in need of fine tuning for the season.

I believe our needs are at least one if not two centre halves, Campbell to play and stay at right back, Bastian likewise at left back with Hahn and Marshall in front of them respectively.

And Rudi needs support in central midfield, he was a touch below par against Cheshunt from recent performances but where was his side kick to take the mantle from him, Rio? no chance, I'm quite a calm and analytical fella but Rio is not good enough for us, contract or no contract, saying thay Max and Rudi do not mix well, so we need a CM player with Rudi, the goals are beginning to arrive now however it'd be nice to see Hammond scoring and getting some rewards for his willingness to run for all causes and for Crace to make a speedy return too.

It looks more promising but we are nothing more than a mid-table outfit at present.

Lets be honest..Rio isn't the player the management thought he was and the quicker they swallow their pride and admit it the better..In fact most of the new signings have proved not to be as good as first hoped. Its time to move on and just pick the best 11 players for each match, and not favour players that the management have brought in personally.

when everyone is fit,i would go for Allen and Gant as centre backs.Campbell right back.Bastian left back.

Midfield should be Hahn/Rudi/ Daughty or Mitchell/ Marshall

Up top:Any pairing from the Crace/Hammond/Remy

I agree totally with your comments and line ups LS.

I have to eat some humble pie as Hahn proved he can play a bit at last and apart from his 2 goals (could have scored 4-5) his quick feet and confidence in his ability v's Cheshunt was way above his previous performances, well done Mitch, if he continues this vain of form then it's one signing that will prove to be a good one.

I'd like to see Dauti fit and filling that 11th man role in midfield which Rio has left vacant whether playing or not.

Sorry can't agree there. I agree Rio isn't good.

I agree on current performance we need some pace at the back.

Mitch Hahn started wobbly I'd agree but hey the lad is really starting to look the business.

Jeff Hammond started slow but is beginning to find his feet.

I find Ellis Remy and Gazmund Dauti exciting to watch - OK I'm sad!

So the only one for now I'd show the door to is Rio.

what happened to our great new signings at full back?? The brimo lad proved not up to the job and Lucas Williams hasn't been seen since a disasterous performance at Concord. What about the little winger from Broxbourne??Plus we seemed to have signed various new players who never feature, or who are never heard of again.

I would say that the new maanagements signings have proved to be about 35% sucessful against 65% non-sucessful so far.

a - Lucas Williams - we are all asking the same question !!

b - Broxbourne winger - I think you will find he has gone back to Broxbourne - why we have let him go, God only knows !!

Williams came on as sub at the equally disastrous FA Cup Match, I think he has been missing since then.

Drisdales a very lively fella, but lacks a cunning sharp reactive footballing brain in my view and does not have the quality to balance his abilities up.

And lastly I wished the ratio for successful new signings was 35%.

Anyway folks, we have Chatham, Hillingdon and Ware in the next 3 games before a very winnable Trophy match away to Godalming.

I think 5pts is the minimum return we should be seeking and 7pts should be very welcome. Am I being to optimistic or will we have more cohesion about ourselves over a 90min period since our last game. Rio missing will help.

Unless Broxbourne have improved dramatically since last season, I can't see what Bradley will learn from going back there. He'll skin left backs for fun without worrying about his starting positioning. But that's not good enough for level 4. He'd learn more, in my view, being coached by Mike & playing in the Capital League.

Perhaps he just wants to play, without ambition.

I agree totally, if he is to be part of the ETFC set up then he should be prepared for a reserve game on a regular basis as the next best thing to the first team otherwise steer clear.

Perhaps he just wants to play, without ambition.

This information was taken from the FA website.

What's to say he will be chosen this Saturday?
